TUNA MARMITAKO

DIFFICULTY: EASY DURATION:  60 minutes COMMENSALS: 2  

Ingredients:

  • 500 gr of tuna
  • 800 gr of potatos
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 lt of fish soup
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt

Preparation:

  1. Peel and finely chop the onions, pepper, tomatoes and garlic. Season and sauté for about 10 minutes in a casserole with a good jet of oil.
  2. Peel, peel the potatoes and add them to the casserole. Sauté well and add the hot fish stock. Let cook about 20 minutes
  3. Remove skin and thorns from bonito. Cut it into dice and season it. Add it to the casserole and cook for 3 more minutes.
  4. Salt and serve.

Note: It is convenient to «peel» the potatoes, that is, insert the knife into the potato and break it with a sudden wrist movement. In this way, the sauce will easily gain weight.
